Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to prepare anything before the workshop?

We bring everything: colors, sticks, gloves, and aprons! We just ask that you cover the tables with plastic tablecloths and reserve 2 tables for our prep area.

How long does resin take to dry?

The resin needs 24 hours to cure (harden) before it can be removed from the mold. If necessary, it can be moved to a different location after the first 12 hours to complete the remaining curing time of the 24 hours. After 24 hours, the project can be removed from the mold; however, it will remain flexible for an additional 2 days, so be sure to lay it flat during that time.

Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand that there’s sometimes a need to reschedule. Your deposit will go towards your rescheduled event. Looking forward to seeing you then!

Are there any safety concerns when it comes to resin?

Resin is flammable, so keep it away from any flames. Any creations made for food, such as trays, can be used for warm food 4 days after they dry. Just stay away from hot items straight from the oven or stove!

Do I need to return the molds?

Yes! The molds are rented for the workshop and are needed for future ones. If they’re not given back, we’ll need to charge you for them.

Does my resin piece need to be stored in a specific way after I bring it home?

Yes! You should store your creation flat and away from heat.

Should I wear specific clothes?

We provide gloves and aprons, but resin can be messy! Wear something you're comfortable getting creative in because it won't wash out. Don't worry though – it comes right off your skin with wipes and soap!

Is there a specific place we should have the workshop?

Yes—hard floors work best! If any resin gets on the floor, we can easily wipe it up with disinfectant wipes. This means faster cleanup and more time creating!
